Commissioned by Design Museum Holon for the exhibition “Top View”.

The objects around us are increasingly digitized. IOT, wearable computing, the smart home. Wherever we turn our heads, screens are maliciously smiling at us. Though traditionally glasses are there to help us see more, BLOCK is a prototype for glasses to make us see less. By turning the lenses we can shut ourselves from the screens around us and for a brief moment, see the world as it is.

BLOCK is open source, and can be printed and modified with home 3D printers, using common lenses.
